Ford and the electric car

You mentioned that the Monitor was turned out when Henry Ford put out his car. Did you know that Henry Ford bought up the streetcar tracks on Waren Ave. in Detroit and covered them over, this took out some very good transportation for the masses. I lived in Detroit at the time, and bore witness to what was done. Even today, big car companies have actually shredded the electric car. How about a story about that, by one of your journalists?
