Ace of hearts Uday Hussein was Sadaam’s oldest son and No. 3 on the American most-wanted list. In 2003, US forces killed Uday, who at one point had been in line to succeed his father before being replaced by his younger brother. He was known for erratic behavior and public brutality, both before and after an assassination attempt in 1996 that left him with severe injuries.

He was head of Iraq's Olympic committee and kept a torture chamber in the basement of the committee's Baghdad headquarters, where he sometimes had national soccer players and other athletes tortured for poor performances.

King of Hearts Hani Abd al-Latif Tilfah al-Tikriti, the former head of state security and No. 7 on the most-wanted list, is believed to still be at large. Little else is known about his status or background.
