Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

Pakistan banned YouTube as well as Facebook, Wikipedia over ‘Draw Mohammed Day,’ an internet campaign to depict the prophet. Artwork depicting the prophet Mohammed is considered by many Muslims to be blasphemous. Pakistan lifted the ban a day later.
