NCAA tournament: Morehead State joins Top 10 Cinderella teams

One of the most enjoyable things about the NCAA tournament - for basketball fanatics and casual observers alike - is the Cinderella story. This list looks some of the best upsets in NCAA tournament history.

Butler (2010)

Butler was the No. 5 seed in the West Region. They ran the gauntlet after the first two rounds, upsetting the heavily favored No. 1 seed Syracuse in the Sweet Sixteen, No. 2 seed Kansas State in the Elite Eight, and 2009 runner-up Michigan State in the Final Four.

In the championship game, Butler came within inches of toppling Mike Krzyzewski’s No.1 seeded Duke team on Gordon Hayward’s last-second shot (see fan footage below).
