2 killed in college shooting and one teenage girl was wounded in the parking lot of the Hazard Community and Technical College in Kentucky. Police have arrested the suspected shooter. The shooting, say police, was a domestic dispute unrelated to the college.
The new New York gun-control laws would tighten the restrictions on ownership of assault rifles. Ammunition magazines would be restricted to seven bullets. The proposed law also increases sentences for gun-related crimes.
A cop is accused of leaving his baby girl in a hot car to die after killing the child's mother. "He was either going to talk her out of that paternity suit or he was going to kill her," said the prosecutor.
