It's common these days to show the candidate strolling across a ranch with a rifle slung over the shoulder. But this Arizona GOP congressional primary ad takes the gun thing to a whole new level, showing not just one, but four different firearms, including what looks like a fully automatic Thompson submachine gun. Despite her overwhelming display of firepower, Gorman lost the primary to Ben Quayle – son of Vice President Dan – whose own ad manages to come off as pretty menacing, even though he's unarmed.
