Michael Vick autograph, Jackson pratfall least of Cowboys' worries

Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Cowboys Sunday night in Texas. Some Dallas players and fans are mad at the Eagles' DeSean Jackson following his 4th quarter TD and a Cowboys running back asking for Michael Vick's autograph right after the game.

After catching a pass from Michael Vick(not pictured), Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson falls into the end zone to score a 91-yard touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys during the second half of an NFL football game Sunday, Dec. 12, in Arlington, Texas.

After winning three of their last four games under interim head coach Jason Garrett, the Dallas Cowboys had to come back to earth sometime. And that time may have started Sunday night, when Philadelphia came back to beat the Cowboys, 30-27.

Some Cowboy players and fans were more concerned about appearances, following the loss. Just before completing a 91-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson stopped at the goal line, turned around, spread his arms, and fell backward into the end zone.

Then, after the game was over, Dallas running back Tashard Choice asked Philly QB Michael Vick to autograph a glove. On first blush, this may not have been the best time to make such a request. But, Choice claims it was for his cousin.

Point is, there are bigger fish to fry in Dallas, as the team tries to improve upon a 4-9 record with three games left. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said it best on CBS' "60 Minutes" Sunday night. If his late friend George Steinbrenner owned the Cowboys, general manager Jones would be in the unemployment line by now.

An injured Tony Romo hasn't helped matters and now, rookie wideout Dez Bryant is also out with an injury. But, as a Dallas blogger put it, playmakers have to start making plays, on offense and defense, especially if they want to be around next year. Bottom line – everyone is in tryout mode for the 2011 season right now.
