Obviously King Arthur and his knights, including Sir Lancelot, participated in battle in the traditional versions of the legend. But in this twist on the story, which also makes Arthur and his knights members of the Roman army, the usually peaceful Guinevere (Keira Knightley) is a member of a tribe of Britons revolting against the Romans. For the 2004 film version, Guinevere fights off attackers with a bow and arrow and often wears blue paint into battle.
