The search for identity – unique and memorable – is so "mom" when it comes to baby names. Even if Mom is so famous that baby can't possibly be mistaken for anyone else but Hollywood royalty.

Jessica Simpson, who announced her pregnancy via a Christmas-day Twitter, reportedly let out the secret of what she'll name it, a source has told US Weekly.

"[She's] told people she's going to name the baby Ace!" reports US Weekly.

The wisdom of such early leaks, reported Monitor mommy blogger Stephanie Hanes last month, is questionable. Nothing is mulled over and debated more during a pregnancy than what to name the baby, she wrote during her eighth month of pregnancy with her second daughter. She warned that the chatter over your choice may sully your bright idea.

Other than being more powerful than royalty in a deck of cards, Ace is a fairly low-profile name for the child of a Simpson. Ms. Simpson's nephew, her sister Ashlee Simpson and Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz's son, is named Bronx Mowgli.

Compared with other celebrities on the Monitor's celebrity baby name list, Ace and Simpson's 10-month-old daughter Maxwell, as far as names go, don't scratch the surface of out-there.

The flamboyant British chef Jamie Oliver and his wife Juliette Norton take the prize for sheer volume of names that reach for ave four children whose names must have been picked willy-nilly from a hat full of scrawled on pieces of paper left over from a game of Mad Libs: Buddy Bear Maurice, Petal Blossom Rainbow, Daisy Boo Pamela, Poppy Honey Rosie.
