President Barack Obama's 18-minute-plus speech, which included the single most direct statement of support for gay and lesbian couples from a president yet – meh. But Sasha Obama yawning? Instant meme.

According to the Atlantic Wire, Sasha Obama's yawn came after this line in her dad's speech: "No single person can train all the math and science teachers we’ll need to equip our children for the future, or build the roads and networks and research labs that will bring new jobs and businesses to our shores. Now, more than ever, we must do these things together, as one nation, and one people."

While inauguration attendees started to clap, the cameras at ABC News cut away to Sasha Obama yawning.

The rest is history.
