Are you a Helicopter Parent? Take our quiz

5. When your preschoolers go to a neighborhood Easter egg hunt you:

Let them pick up the eggs themselves, but point out all the eggs you see.

Let them do it on their own, but watch carefully, and if they're not finding any, you give a few hints.

Rush in with your kids as soon as the hunt is on and pick up as many eggs as you can for them – it's a team, after all.

Talk with the other parents and never notice if the kids have collected eggs or not.
