'Bond 23' song: Who will pen theme music for next James Bond film?
'Bond 23' will soon begin production. The next question to be answered, besides who will be the next Bond girl, is who will write and perform the theme song. Daniel Craig has ideas of his own.
With the new untitled Bond 23 film gearing up for production, outside of who will be a Bond Girl (rumors here and here), the next logical bit of fan curiosity is, who will do the theme song? For Casino Royale, they tapped Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell and for Quantum of Solace they got Alicia Keys and Jack White, for the first ever Bond duet.Skip to next paragraph

Now, it looks like James Bond himself, Daniel Craig, has been pursuing The Kings of Leon for next November’s Bond 23. “Hmm. Daniel Craig has asked me before. I have turned him down 3 times already but maybe,” says drummer Nathan Followill. “I’ve always wanted to work with strings though so maybe yeah, that’ll be a good excuse.”
This new series has had a flair for using rock singers so far. Would you dig a Kings of Leon theme song? I mean, this series did use Duran Duran at one point….
