Donald Trump is under criticism for his comments about Sweden during a rally in Florida over the weekend. Trump claimed that Sweden was suffering from war and hardships from taking in refugees and immigrants. Sweden immediately responded with confusion saying Trump's claims were false. Trump attempted to protect himself by saying he got the information from statistics on Fox News, once again blaming the media for his faults. Former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt appeared on CNN on Monday to say, "We expect the president of the United States to have sources of information that goes beyond Fox News."
