For the second weekend in a row, Fox and Chernin Entertainment's "Hidden Figures" dominated the domestic box office. Over the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday weekend, the film brought in $26 million dollars--raising it's total domestic figure to $60.4 million. Although the film is a latecomer to the awards season race, the powerhouse drama could see some Academy Award nominations when the Oscar categories are announced next week. The film stars Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monae, and follows the story of three brilliant african-american women at NASA during the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit.
