Being remembered for throwing pies in people's faces?

Well, that might be the first thing that people recall when they think of Soupy Sales. The legendary TV funnyman passed on yesterday in New York and leaves behind a career of great stories, much laughter, and yes – pies in the face.

Estimates are that Soupy was involved in more than 20,000 pies thrown – either as the thrower or the recipient. We're not sure who had the job of counting all those instances.
