Gmail, along with Google Drive and Google Calendar, went dark briefly at about noon on Monday, and Twitter became quickly overrun with tips on alternative methods, speculations about the Mayan apocalypse, schadenfreude from Outlook users, and, most of all, wisecracks. Here are our 10 favorite tweets from the Great Gmail Outage of 2012:
