10 most intriguing tablets of 2012
From the inevitable iPad 3 to the mysterious Google Nexus tablet, here are the 10 tablets to watch in 2012.
2. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7
You have to admire Samsung. They are willing to try every tablet permutation. There’s already been a Galaxy Tab 7.0, 10.1, 8.9, and now a Galaxy Tab 7.7. Each number denotes the screen size.
At about half the size of an iPad, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 is more of a one-handed tablet. It has a Super AMOLED Plus display (that’s marketer-speak for a screen with vibrant, bright colors). And, of course, this Android tablet has access to Google’s ever-growing marketplace of apps.
Screen size: 7.7"
Connectivity: Wi-Fi, 4G
Price: $500+ (Expected)
Available: February or March 2012 (Expected)
The hook: Lean, mean, Android machine.
