Ever dreamed of naming a bookstore?

You just might get your chance – a bookstore that is set to open in Madison, N.J., and owner Barbara Short is looking for a moniker for the location.

The Main Street area of the town used to be home to an indie store called Sages Pages, but the bookstore flooded this past January and ultimately closed. Sages Pages owner Lillian Trujillo encouraged Short, who had often visited the bookstore, to open a new store in the Main Street area.

“We all miss Sages Pages,” Short told the Madison Eagle. "The opportunity is to continue to have a local bookshop serving our community, and the challenge will be living up to the remarkable standards that Lillian and Sages Pages have set.”

But what will the name of the new store be? Short is encouraging the public to submit ideas. (Check out the Madison Eagle story for Short’s e-mail.) Submissions will be accepted until June 6.
