Talk about perfect timing: Small Montreal publisher TransitMedia will "start the presses rolling" tomorrow morning with a new biography of Michael Jackson titled "Michael Jackson: The Last Days," reports Canwest News Service. The book's author is Ian Halperin, an investigative journalist who has also written about Celine Dion and Kurt Kobain.
The book had been planned to coincide with Jackson's upcoming series of 50 London concerts. But when the pop star died unexpectedly last week, the author launched on a "frantic rewrite" of the book's last 50 pages, publisher Pierre Turgeon told Canwest.
Apparently the book had already been titled "Michael Jackson: The Last Days."
