Meghan McCain sells a second book
Is it hard for a young author to get published? Not if her dad runs for president. John McCain's daughter, 24-year-old Meghan McCain, has just sold her second book for an advance rumored to be "in the high six figures."

The New York Observer is reporting that Hyperion "prevailed over at least three other publishers in an auction that began earlier this week."
It's not clear what McCain will be writing about, although some are guessing – based on her columns for The Daily Beast website – that she might tackle questions about the future of the Republican Party.
McCain's first book was a biographical picture book about her father entitled "My Dad, John McCain," published last fall.
