A book deal for Joe the Plumber?

It probably should surprise no one, but rumor has it that Joe the Plumber (aka Sam Wurzelbacher) is being represented by a lawyer who is shopping a book deal for Joe with some of the Los Angeles talent agencies.

At least that's according to a post by MSNBC's Keith Olbermann last night on Daily Kos. Olbermann says he got this from "an unimpeachable source in the publishing industry."

I guess it's only fair. If Tina Fey can score a six-figure book deal fueled by her Sarah Palin imitation, then why shouldn't Joe get a piece of the action as well?

But once again, it isn't for nothing that they call this "the silly season."
