I just finished Between Two Worlds: Escape from Tyranny - Growing Up in the Shadow of Saddam, the autobiography of Zainab Salbi, and I think I've found a new personal hero. Her experiences growing up in a family trapped between Saddam Hussein's favor and his fury give her give her fascinating insight into the hard choices people must make during the rise of a dictator, and her story of finding her own peace with her past and her parents' choices through working with women survivors of wars around the world is inspiring.
