Reader recommendation: The Indians of New Jersey
Monitor readers share their favorite book picks.
I just finished one of the most interesting novels ever: The Indians of New Jersey: Dickon Among the Lenapes, by M.R. Harrington. It's about a young boy who gets washed off an English ship off the coast of NJ in 1612. Rescued by the Lenape Indians, he lives with them for two years. Most highly recommended.
