The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid

The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid is a memoir by travel/humor writer Bill Bryson.  For those who have followed his travels through titles such as "A Walk in the Woods" or "In a Sunburned Country" and laughed themselves silly while reading them, this retelling of his early years in 1950's Des Moines does not disappoint.  Bryson has a knack for educating his readers while entertaining them, and this memoir is true to his form.  Highly enjoyable.
