The Rights of the Reader

I am so happy Sarah Adams has translated The Rights of the Reader by Daniel Pennac into English. Children’s laureate Quentin Blake drew the illustrations. Pennac explains why reading is a pleasure and then suggests how to instill it. The wit and wisdom of this book are universal.
