I have recently purchased (and am reading) The Women’s Bible Commentary edited by Carol A. Newsom and Sharon H. Ringe. I am always looking for new perspectives on the Bible. The authors have presented an insightful and well-researched volume on the canonical and apocryphal books with a refreshing "feminine" sense of exegesis.
