The Good Good Pig by Sy Montgomery is about blessings recognized, enjoyed, and appreciated. Although the remarkable Christopher Hogwood (the pig, not the conductor) stars in this drama, his supporting cast of humans and creatures is just as fascinating. And as an extra added attraction, the author scatters throughout comments on other unusual and informative books about people and animals. I took notes.
