Reader recommendation: Lost In Shangri-La

Monitor readers share their favorite book picks.

Lost In Shangri-La by Mitchell Zuckoff is a good account of a plane crash which occurred in May of 1945 in a remote area of New Guinea. Twenty American service men and women perished and only three people were left to survive in the jungle and eventually be rescued by a massive rescue operation.
