I am reading Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Prophet and Spy by Eric Metaxas, a biography of German Lutheran pastor, theologian, and anti-Nazi dissident Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Metaxas offers great biographic information on Bonhoeffer's family in the first part of the book. The second section is a great history lesson if you don't know the outcome of Bonhoeffer's life. It is very good to read what Bonhoeffer's reaction was to such "big-time" theologians such as Karl Barth and Richard and Reinhold Niebuhr.
