Reader recommendation: The Wilderness Warrior

Monitor readers share their favorite book picks.

I just read and loved Douglas Brinkley's The Wilderness Warrior: Theodore Roosevelt and the Crusade for America, 1858-1919, about TR and his many many achievements in writing books on nature and preserving lands across the USA. Such triumphal and monumental accomplishments from this very young president who hated being called Teddy Roosevelt because of that awful hunting experience.... You'll have to read the book to find out why!
