3. Adding up
Be aware of your behavior when you're with colleagues even if it's not in a professional setting. For example, if you and a group of co-workers are playing golf and you all decide to change a golf score in someone's favor, it may seem harmless, since it's not related to work. But, Gunsalus points out, it could come back at you later. A co-worker could ask you to change an official number related to work, and then say, "It's just a number. Like when we were on the golf course."
