2. 'The Long Walk,' by Brian Castner
Castner, a former commander of an Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit that served in Iraq, tells of his experiences overseas in his new memoir, the first work by the author. He details what it's like to be in the midst of dangerous situations during wartime, and also writes about the challenges a soldier faces when he returns home.
