2. School safety
Prince William attended Eton College for high school and, while the students and the people living in the surrounding town of Eton often co-mingled, security was still reportedly carefully attended to when it came to the student who was an heir to the throne. Once, a fellow student who happened to be at his window in his room saw Prince William going down the street below him and, thinking only of making a joke, aimed a laser pen at the prince. Prince William's personal protection officers saw the red dot and thought there was a sniper in the area, and the student suddenly found himself facing down the officers' weapons.
