Book trailers – once simply vehicles for authors to address their readers – are getting more and more cinematic. No wonder they even have their own own awards ceremony, the annual Moby Awards, to honor the best and the worst. Here are four of the best book trailers of the past several years.
1. 'A Monster Calls,' by Patrick Ness
Patrick Ness's young adult book about a boy who receives a mysterious visit from a monster gets its premise across with tumbling black-and-white visuals and a haunting soundtrack.
