Carrie Fisher's book Wishful Drinking is more about herself than her family, but the daughter of singer Eddie Fisher and screen star Debbie Reynolds discusses the marriages her parents had after they left each other (including Eddie Fisher's with Elizabeth Taylor) as well as wacky family anecdotes, including her mother's reaction to Fisher's ex-husband leaving her for another man. "You know, dear," Reynolds reportedly said, "We’ve had every sort of man in our family – we’ve had horse thieves and alcoholics and one-man bands – but this is our first homosexual."
