5 reasons "The Night Circus" is everywhere
If you've read a newspaper or been anywhere online in the past few weeks, chances are you've seen the distinctive black cover of "The Night Circus" by Erin Morgenstern. Here are five reasons that this book is suddenly popping up wherever you go.
1. It's a debut novel that hit it big
This is the first published book for author Erin Morgenstern, 33, a self-described "writer, painter & keeper of cats" from Massachusetts. Morgenstern sold "The Night Circus" to Doubleday, who obtained the novel for an advance of six figures. ("The sound you are hearing is my head spinning, still," writes Morgenstern on her webpage.)
