Joy in running, endurance, and generosity: These are some of the qualities of the Tarahumara Indians. Their superspeed has captivated many, including runner-storyteller Christopher McDougall. His book Born To Run: A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen tells about all of the above. McDougall’s book is fascinating, even to me, an ambler.
