4. Weather of the Pacific Northwest
Weather of the Pacific Northwest, by Cliff Mass. I already turn to Mass, an atmospheric science professor at the University of Washington, if predictions call for any sort of wild weather. His blog offers engaging and thorough weather discussions, from predictions to post-mortem. Yet somehow I’ve never read his “Weather of the Pacific Northwest,” which won considerable praise for demystifying our region’s extreme weather.
