Sara Miller Llana

Latin America Bureau Chief

Sara Miller Llana is the Monitor's Latin America Bureau Chief based in Mexico City. She has held the position since 2006, covering everything from presidential elections in Venezuela and Chile, to the earthquake in Haiti in 2010, to indigenous rights and culture throughout the region. She was the New England correspondent in Boston before moving to the international section. She has a masters in journalism from Columbia University and a BA in history from the University of Michigan.
