Eoin O'Carroll

Eoin O'Carroll works on The Christian Science Monitor's online editorial team, where he helps guide the Monitor's Web strategy, coaches other journalists in online media, and writes and edits science and technology stories.
Eoin holds a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Wesleyan University and a Master of Science in journalism from Boston University’s College of Communication. Before joining the Monitor in 2005, Eoin worked as a travel columnist, a restaurant critic, and an ESL teacher.
In 2005, Eoin was a junior visiting fellow at the Institut für die Wissenschaften vom Menschen in Vienna, Austria, where he examined ways that governments stifle freedom of expression beyond their borders.
