Susan Bonifant is an essayist and novelist who has launched four children and is now returning to a full-time writing career. Since 2008, Susan has maintained the blog  "Worth Mentioning" where she captures a lesser noticed, sometimes overlooked view of parenting, friendship, work, marriage, and other aspects of daily life that make them worth remembering.

With her youngest child beginning his freshman year at Elon University this fall, Susan will resume and finish work on a novel, travel, and continue to observe and document things we miss if we're not paying attention.

Susan is a member of the New Hampshire Writing Project and the Grub Street Organization in Boston. In addition to blogging, she has written for The Christian Science Monitor, and contributes to the Concord Monitor.  She lives in Hopkinton, N.H. with her husband Larry and kitten, Gus.
