Into it: Kelly Edwards

The HGTV host dishes on her favorite magazines, 'The Sopranos,' and that 'upbeat indie rock, angry-British-men stuff.'

... reading?

Honestly, it's magazines – tons of design magazines, all over my apartment. I read Domino, that's my absolute favorite. And Blueprint I love. Martha Stewart Living is always great, and Elle Décor, Chicago Home. I used to always read business books – The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People … that sort of stuff. I just recently got away from that.

... watching?

I flip though Direct Demand. I don't have TiVo and I really need it. I do a lot of HGTV-watching, obviously. I'm a big Entourage and Sopranos fan – now that it's gone I'm kind of sad about that. I have a 9 p.m. void in my life on Sunday nights. I love Dancing with Stars, and all of those reality shows that VH-1 has. I'm not a big movie girl.

... listening to?

I use my iPod a lot, mostly when I run. I love Gorillaz, I like the upbeat indie rock, angry-British-men stuff, the Killers, and Muse, and Interpol. When I'm home, my favorite right now is Cat Power. I went and saw her in Chicago and I think she has an incredible voice. I like her song "The Greatest." Divine Comedy is a British band that I went and saw in London last year, and I like them as well.

Kelly Edwards's Home & Garden Television show was recently picked up for a third season. She will also co-host HGTV's National Hardware Show special Sept. 30.
