Up in the Air: Correspondent Daria Vaisman ended up interviewing Georgia's President Mikhail Saakashvili in a helicopter. "An aide told me to meet the president at his house, and before I knew it, I had joined him and others on a trip to Batumi, where Mr. Saakashvili was promoting tourism."

Daria spent the day watching Saakashvili cut ribbons and visit with local officials. After dinner, she thought they would just head back home. "But Saakashvili turned to me and announced that they were going to play soccer, and would I like to watch? So we all went to a soccer field, and he and one of the governors soon began a pickup game with local young people and some well-known professional players."

Daria says Saakashvili seemed to enjoy himself. "He definitely was into it. People were very happy but didn't seem surprised. I thought maybe it was a photo op, but I looked around and there were no cameras there."
