Miami: hot sun ... and too few drivers who keep their cool?

If you'd rather avoid "road rage" even in its milder forms - drivers who, when annoyed, shout expletives, make obscene gestures, and blare their horns angrily at other motorists - then you might want to steer clear of Miami. The city essentially has been identified as the road rage capital of the US by AutoVantage, a 2 million-member car-owner service company based in Trumbull, Conn., in its first "In the Driver's Seat Survey." The top 10 cities where drivers who tend to lose their grip on self-control are most likely to be found, according to results of the survey:

1. Miami
2. Phoenix
3. New York
4. Los Angeles
5. Boston
6. Washington/Baltimore
7. Detroit
8. San Diego
9. Houston
10. Philadelphia
