Imagine the cycle of plants:
sprout to stem, blossom to bloom
to seed to compost -

how they live
with never a backward glance,
never an embarrassment or apology

each morning they rise, self-assured,
eloquent in their sweet certainty,
in the quiet breath of their dance.
