Had enough of the water yet? Nah.

US swimmer Lenny Krayzelburg, who won the gold in the men's 100m backstroke event, will do a racer's dive into another heated backstroke contest today - the 200m.

Sharing the spotlight at the Aquatic Centre will be American team player Jenny Thompson - with her career gold-medal count now at seven, all in relays - for the women's 100m freestyle. It's her last shot this Olympics at an individual medal.

The US women's gymnasts, who finished in fourth place in the team finals, today start the individual all-around trials. Three US team members made the cut - Elise Ray, Amy Chow, and Kristin Maloney.

A big rivalry: The US women take on Australia on the softball field. The Aussies beat the Americans in the 10th inning in 1996.
