*Regular milk is treated at 161 degrees F. for 15 seconds. It keeps about two weeks.
*Extended shelf-life milk is treated at about 280 degrees F. for two seconds. It's good for 60 to 90 days.
*Ultrahigh pasteurized milk remains fresh for up to six months if it is packed in asceptic containers under sterile conditions.
