Regarding the article "The Bosnia Dilemma - What to Do?," May 13: Scholars and researchers spend too much time intellectualizing and too little time on effective action. While the author suggests that we "weep, ponder, seek understanding, hold a Geneva conference," hundreds of Bosnian Muslims are being killed and dispossessed every day.
One day in the future, perhaps we can tell the surviving Bosnian Muslims that we wept and pondered while they were killed and dispossessed. Jeff Siddiqui, Lynnwood, Wash.
