CEO STOCK HOLDINGS IN MILLIONS

The typical chief executive officer in the 100 largest United States industrial firms holds $5 million worth of company stock, according to an analysis by TPF&C, a Towers Perrin company that specializes in compensation consulting. The measure includes stock held by the executive, his or her spouse, or members of the immediate family.The typical US chief executive owns 0.8 percent of his company's stock, the survey says.
