THE NEW WORLD * THE OLD WORLD. 1492. 1992

Today the Monitor kicks off its coverage of the "year of Columbus." Continuing into 1992, we'll look at the New World/Old World dynamic from a number of perspectives. We'll ask how the events of 1492 led to the world of today in religion, art, and the sciences, and how this half-millennium-long relationship may evolve. These stories will be found throughout the paper, identified by this special logo.
